Voici quelques livres (hors comics) de ma collection pour mieux connaitre Batman (je les ai en anglais, désolé, mais pour certains, vous pouvez trouver la version française)

- Michael L. Fleisher, The Original Encyclopedia of Comics Book Heroes, Vol 1 (Batman), DC Comics, 2007
- Scott Beatty, Batman: The Ultimate Guide to the Dark Knight, DK, 2001 (sympathique - existe en français, je crois)
- Paul Dini and Chipp Kid, Batman Animated, It Books, 1998 (excellent pour les collectionneurs)
- Scott Beatty, The Batman Handbook, Quirk Books, 2005 (très drôle, un livre pour devenir Batman)
- Paul Levitz, 75 Years of DC Comics, Taschen, 2010 (une vraie beauté)
- Michael Teitelbaum, Scott Beatty, Robert Greenburger, Daniel Wallace, The DC Comics Encyclopedia, DK Publishing, 2008 (pas trop mal, mais peut mieux faire)
- Robert Greenberger, The Essential Batman Encyclopedia, Del Rey, 2008
-White Mark, Arp Robert, and Irwin Willam, Batman and Philosophy: The Dark Knight of the Soul, John Wiley & Sons Ltd, 2009 (la philo a travers Batman)

Ne les ayant pas encore lu, il m'est impossible d'en conseiller un. Il n'en reste pas moins qu'a mon avis, la Bible des encyclopédies batmanesques est : The Original Encyclopedia of Comic Book Heroes 1: Batman (seul défaut, elle n'a pas été mise a jour depuis les années 1970). Il faut donc la compléter avec The essential Batman encyclopedia de Robert Greenberger.
